I'd like to thank all the reviewers thus far for their comments and insigts, as well as the great references and suggestions for how to improve the paper.
I wanted to respond in particular to some of Jordan's comments. It is suggested that "the paper lacks a theoretical framework." It's true, there's no over-arching theory or methodology behind this paper, it's meant more as a critique of current trends and practices in the field. My question is, what sort of theoretical framework would be appropriate for this paper, and how would the paper benefit from it? Thanks again to all the reviewers. |
