In June 2002, I earned my Ph.D. degree in Informatics from University of Gothenburg (faculty opponent was Dr. Ulrike Schultze, Southern Methodist University), and three years later I was appointed Associate Professor (May 2005). Since July 2008, I am a Professor of Informatics at the University of Gothenburg. As of January 2009, I hold a Professorship in informatics at the University of Borås. I am also managing the Transport research group at the Viktoria Institute. Currently, I serve on the editorial boards of Information Systems Research, Journal of Information & Knowledge Management, and Scandinavian Journal of Information Systems. My research has been published in MIS Quarterly, European Journal of Information Systems, Information Systems Journal, Journal of Strategic Information Systems, Information and Organization, Information Systems Management, Scandinavian Journal of Information Systems, and other journals in the information systems discipline (for a list of publications, click here). I was awarded (with Dick Stenmark and Jan Ljungberg) the OR Society’s Stafford Beer Medal for the best paper published in the European Journal of Information Systems and Knowledge Management Research & Practice in the year 2003.
