The automotive industry is standing before a paradigm shift when it comes to propulsion. Battery technology and electrical operation are becoming more and more important. In addition to a challenging technical development, new standards and regulations are needed.
The development requires access to an infrastructure that in an intelligent and smooth manner can offer a way of charging the electric vehicles of the future. This new infrastructure needs to be developed in parallel with the development of new electrically powered vehicles and will make way for new IT services and for new players to get established in the motor vehicle industry.
Viktoria Institute is involved in several exciting projects under the application area Electric and Hybrid Vehicles. Here they act as catalyst and coordinators, bringing different actors together to one arena, preparing for the electrification of the car-fleet.
