Dr Raul Carlson has previously authored books in the environmental field, such as provided several contributions to the book on eco-efficent rail vehicle design in 2001 (Leuven University Press, 2001), and he was awarded Author of the Year 2008 together with is co-author for the Swedish handbook on Life Cycle Assessment named 'Ringar på vattnet' (SIS förlag, Sweden, 2008).
