Industrial research institute develops services for the automotive industry

Interest in cooperative systems (the interconnection of vehicles to allow them to communicate with each other) is growing and the Viktoria Institute now has four people working in this field.

Cooperative systems allow such things as platooning where trucks follow close behind each other to reduce fuel consumption. This can be further developed into a “train" that only has one driver.
