what i do

I am an engineer and PhD student working in multidisciplinary projects at the convergence of art, technology, and design. My research is prototyping-based and explores new potentials for everyday aesthetic practices enabled by ubiquitous computing. It focuses in particular on mobile media for urban space and on computational repurposing of everyday objects. Since 2002, I am working on various research projects at Future Applications Lab, Viktoria Institute in Göteborg, Sweden. I also work on smaller new media projects with friends and I am an actively involved in the mobile music and NIME communities.
