February 8 - 11. Visiting Media Lab Europe with Mobile Life in Dublin, Ireland.

January 23 - February 2. Obtaining new premises; moving to to Lindholmen, close to the It-university in Göteborg

January 20. Holding an "Introduction to user centered design" lecture at the It-University.

November 4. Mobile Life Seminar in Göteborg with Kia Höök and Oscar Juhlin.

November 7. Workshop in Linköping discussing Everyday It-applications and ubiquitous computing.

October 21,23,28 and 30. Teaching about USER DRIVEN DESIGN at the Intelligent products course at the IT-university.

September 1 -5 Interact 2003 Ninth International Conference on Human-Computer Interaction. "Bringing the Bits together" in Zurich, Switzerland. Maria H&aringkansson presented our short paper within the pin&play project : Like Solving a Giant Puzzle: Supporting Collaborative Scheduling at a Film Festival [PDF].

April- CHI 2003 , Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, April 5-10.

January- Meeting with Mobility in London 30 January to 1 February. We visited Bill Gaver and his students at Royal College of Art , Paul Luff at Kings College and Bob Spence at Imperial College. We also had a meeting with Alex Talor from Digital World Research Centre, who presented his work about young people and their use of mobilephones.

September- Mobile Life Research Workshop with Future Applications Lab, SICS (Swedish Institute of Computer Science) and the Mobility group at the Interactive Institute, sept 11 - 12 in Finnhamn, Sweden

July - Siggraph Conference 2002, Texas, USA Sketches and Applications Tobias Skog presented the sketch Bringing Computer Graphics to Everyday Environments with Informative Art (co-authored with Lars-Erik Holmquist and me) [PDF].

June- Pin&Play meeting at Lancaster University, UK. Pin&Play is a project that involves ad-hoc networking among obejcts, attached to a large surface. It is sponsored by the European Commission's Future and Emerging Technologies (FET) program.

April - CHI Conference 2002, Minneapolis, USA. I attended and presented at the workshop: Funology - Designing Enjoyment. Positionpaper: Weather by Mondrian: Designing Enjoyable Information Displays (co-authored with Lars-Erik Holmquist) [PDF].
