What are the organizational implications for incumbent firms when trying to innovate, implement, and execute on more circular business models?

In this 2-year project, Sustainable Business at Viktoria together with CBI at Chalmers, Volvo Cars, Volvo Construction Equipment and SKF investigate the organizational implications when innovating more circular business models (primarily at Volvo Cars), when implementing these radically new business models (primarily at Volvo Construction Equipment) and when executing them in parallell with ongoing "business as usual" (primarily at SKF).

The research has mainly a company-internal focus but since certain challenges goes across organizational boundaries, so does the research on them.

The project is financed by Vinnova and runs from April 2014 to June 2016.
